Why teach at Escape Studios?

TEACH AT ONE OF THE UK’S PREMIER CREATIVE INSTITUTIONS, CREATING WORLD-CLASS, STUDIO-READY GRADUATES

  • Our rankings in the Rookies and our status as an Unreal Authorised Training Centre as well as being Houdini authorised, show how well-embedded we are in the worlds of games, animation, VFX and beyond
  • Get a kick out of teaching the next generation of talent - our students are here because they are ambitious and really want to learn from the best
  • Meet other industry professionals in your field - we have industry professionals in the building regularly, and there are opportunities to network and meet them
  • Keep up to date with your own skills - we run advance courses for industry themselves and often have places for staff
  • We are boutique, not a huge university campus where students come and go - you get to know your students and offer bespoke advice

We have some of the best benefits in the business. We know that one size doesn’t fit all so our workplace programmes meet the different needs of our diverse teams, and their families too.

  • On non-teaching days tutors can work from home, so our work pattern is hybrid in nature, generally staff are in the studios 2.5-3 days a week depending on the teaching timetable
  • We are flexible on hours so if tutors teach in the morning they can work from home in the afternoon
  • Starting holiday of 25 days increasing to 30, with options to flex up or down
  • Annual incentive plan based on company and individual performance
  • Generous pension scheme - contributions are double matched by Pearson
  • Stock purchase options
  • Health plans, and an employee assistance programme for you and your family, to help balance work, family and personal life including flexible working, dental plans, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme and season ticket loans
