Degree validation
We work alongside a number of highly respected universities to validate our degrees. Best of all, we choose to partner with institutions that have particular strengths, to make sure you graduate with a great degree that’s valuable and relevant to you and employers, now and in the future. Our university partners have degree-awarding powers that are recognised by the UK authorities. Degree validation means that they judge your degree to be of an appropriate quality and standard to qualify for an award from their institution. The validating university name will be printed on your degree certificate, along with Pearson College London.

University of Kent
Known as the UK’s European University, the University of Kent is ranked as a top 20 university in The Guardian University Guide 2017, is ranked 23rd in the UK for research intensity out of 122 multi-faculty universities in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and has the fifth equal highest score for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2015, out of 115 multi-faculty institutions. It has also been voted one of the top five universities for teaching in the UK, according to the Times Higher Education (THE).
The University of Bradford
Our university partner, the University of Bradford, validates our postgraduate visual effects (VFX) programmes. The Department of Creative Technology is the home of Computer Animation and Games Development at the university and it’s a real pioneer in the field, known for delivering high-quality, state-of-the-art animation and games development degrees with a strong industry input. The Department also has a strong research focus, enriching the curriculum and enhancing and strengthening teaching. Many graduates have produced award-winning projects as part of their degree, so you’ll be following in impressive footsteps.

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is the world’s largest and leading professional body of management accountants. It was founded in 1919 and continues to train and support management accountants today. CIMA has more than 218,000 members and students across 177 countries. It aims to make sure its members and students are first choice for employers by constantly updating its qualification, professional experience requirements and CPD programme.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) is a professional membership organisation that supports over 140,000 chartered accountants across the world. Founded in 1880, the ICAEW now has offices in seven countries and is based at Chartered Accountants’ Hall in London. ICAEW aims to provide its members with knowledge and guidance based on the highest ethical standards, whilst shaping opinion, understanding and delivery to ensure the highest standards in business and the public interest.
The ICAEW has awarded Pearson College London partner in learning status, which means we can teach elements of the organisation’s professional qualifications to our Business and Enterprise students.
Chartered Management Institute
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) was established over 60 years ago, as the British Institute of Management, and developed the first diploma in management studies. Today, it’s the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to championing management and leadership excellence, leading the way in all aspects of management training and thinking. It also offers practical qualifications for managers and leaders at all levels and is the only Awarding Body able to award Chartered Manager status. Pearson College London’s Business programmes are accredited by the CMI, to give you exemptions from Professional qualification assessments.
