Ben Hughes, Vice Principal (Academic Delivery)

Ben is Vice Principal (Academic Delivery) and his role includes looking after every aspect of the student experience, from enrolment to graduation. He also leads lectures and seminars for our law modules. Ben led the design and management of our flagship BSc (Honours) Business and Enterprise degree, helping to shape everything that makes us unique. He works closely with our industry partners and professional bodies to make sure all our degrees are both academically rigorous and industry led. It’s thanks to Ben our students get involved with industry at the highest level, in exciting and often extraordinary ways.

Before joining us in 2011, Ben managed the Graduate Diploma in Law and LLB programmes at BPP University. Prior to that, he was a practising barrister and was called to the Bar in 1999 after completing the Common Professional Examinations in law at City University. As an undergraduate, he read Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) at Pembroke College, Oxford. Ben is currently studying the Philosophy of Education MA at the Institute of Education, University of London.
