Emily Lawrence, Student Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator

Emily’s interest in Higher Education and Student Recruitment began when she undertook work experience at the University of London working in the Admissions department. This gave her a good understanding of Higher Education which then sparked her enthusiasm to pursue a career at Pearson College London. Emily is a Degree Apprentice; working full time and also studying at Pearson College London. Emily is really enjoys guiding students in choosing the best route possible to start their career, particularly after having recently experienced this challenge herself.

Before joining the team, Emily was studying towards her A Levels, and also recently took part in a World Challenge expedition in Swaziland, where she volunteered to help build a school for children orphaned by HIV and AIDS. This experience improved Emily’s confidence and helped her to become more committed to the idea of providing everyone with the best education possible.
