UCAS now open for September 2019 entry
From 5th September 2018 until 15th January 2019 you can make an application to study with us via UCAS.
As you've probably already learned, all of our students get to study in state-of-the-art studios, using the latest software, being taught by industry-experts and having access to some of the biggest names in the business (through our industry partners) to ensure that their work and showreels are ready for the industry by the time they graduate.
How do we know this works?
It was an amazing year for VFX and Animation during awards season, and many of our short course and postgraduate alumni (dupped Escapees) were part of the teams who were nominated and won several awards such as BAFTAs and Oscars.
Our first cohort of undergraduate students will be graduating in 2019 and we can't wait to see the work they'll go on to do. Many of them have already secured internships and work experience in some of the biggest studios in London - so watch this space!
You'd usually have GCSE English and maths at grade C or equivalent and to have/or to be predicted two A levels or equivalent. If you don't have these, please contact the Admissions Team by email email@example.com or by phone +44 (0) 207 190 4452 and we'll be happy to discuss your options with you.
Offers onto Escape Studios undergraduate courses are made following completion of a Creative Workshop. We take students who have the talent to succeed and we know the best way to judge this is by looking at your portfolio, not just a set of academic grades.
Once we've received your UCAS application you’ll be invited to a Creative Workshop, where you’ll take part in a group task and portfolio review. Your performance at the Creative Workshop will determine whether we can offer you a place.
What course will it be?
Our alumni (dubbed 'Escapees') have gone on to work for some of the biggest studios in the world and on projects such as Oscar winning The Jungle Book, Thor: Ragnarok, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Ex Machina, The Revenant, Spectre, Interstellar, Gravity and Harry Potter.
Choose to bring your characters to life with our animation courses. You'll study in an environment that mirrors a standard industry animation studio, using professional software such as Maya, to give you a true taste of life in the workplace.
