About Saturday Club
Our Saturday Club is free and is led by expert tutors who will give attendees a chance to learn the skills used in VFX, Games and Animation - all whilst developing their Art & Design skills and opening up new career prospects.
How it works
We've partnered with the Saturday Club to give students an opportunity to explore their creativity, learn about new and exciting subjects and discover how the skills they'll learn in Animation, Games and VFX can lead to creative careers.
National Saturday Clubs benefit young people in many ways, including:
- Raising attainment – 80% of Club members achieve at least one grade higher than expected at GCSE in related subjects.
- Leading to progression – 30% go on to foundation, diploma or undergraduate study.
- Creating aspiration – by the end of the year, 70% want to pursue a careers in an industry they’ve had a taster of in the Club.
- Enhancing life skills – as well as nurturing their developing talents, taking part also improves members’ confidence and self-esteem and builds their time management, team work and communications skills.
