How did studying at Escape Studios help you into the world of VFX?
The Motion graphic course was well thought out and project-based which showed ins and outs of creating motion graphics professionally.
What are you working on at the moment?
I mostly work freelance and at the moment working on a local brand to which I will soon be posting on my Vimeo.
What’s your favourite animated character and why?
I absolutely love donkey from Shrek, the facial animation on that character is amazing!
What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in VFX?
You need to be adaptable yet creative, problem-solving and making the right choices during the pre-production process to ease the post process so more can be added to the delivery.
If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word, what would it be and why?
Informative and magical … informative because you could ask anything about the subject and get a relevant and experienced answer and magical because your real transformation is your confidence building, not knowledge alone, and escape lit that spark in me.
What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?
Never ignore your general studies and never stop learning. Read stories, books, explore colours and textures in its natural creation and then remix it with your own imagination and take advantage of today's cutting edge tech to render your vision.
