How did studying at Escape Studios help you into the world of Producing?

Escape Studios gave me ideas and tools to understand the process of VFX pipeline, which helped me to be able to fast track my learning curve.

Where do you currently work and what are you working on at the moment?

I work at Cinesite London. Working on VFX for a Netflix tv series.

What’s your favourite movie and why?

Titanic (1997), for the presence of stunning visual effects and for having amazing cinematography.

What is it like to work as a VFX Production Assistant at Cinesite?

Great experience so far, it’s quite a relaxing work environment despite the high quality of projects they usually work on.

What work are you most proud of working on and what is your most notable achievement?

I am proud of my past experience in a Maltese advertisement agency where I developed 2.5D videos for their social media marketing.

If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word what would it be and why?

Intense.

What lessons have you learned during your time studying and your time working in the industry?

VFX industry requires passion and a solid background. It’s very important to improve your skills on your own.

What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?

Choose a single career path and be prepared to never stop learning.

What course did you study?

I did the six week Producing for VFX course.
