What course did you study?

3D for Visual Effects

How did studying at Escape Studios help you into the world of VFX?

At the end of my course, I had the basic skills to be a professional artist and work without any problems with Senior Artists and Supervisors. Most of them were so surprised that I can already make CG objects so realistic as a Junior Artist.

What are you working on at the moment?

Terminator Genisys, The Revenant, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, The Crown, The Legend of Tarzan, Assassin's Creed and King Arthur.

What's your favourite movie and why?

Transformers 3, I love the 3D characters - from the screenplay to the 3D concept and animation.

What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in VFX?

I actually learned that the only difference is that you are just a student and nothing happens if you make mistakes, but in both cases you will be able to talk with great artists.

If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word, what would it be and why?

I can call this time "Experience". I finally get to meet people like me, with the same passion and love for visual effects and films. It was great to learn really important things, which were useful at the beginning of my career. One of the more interesting things was to share all the new information with my colleagues and develop some new techinques.

What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?

Take it seriously from the beginning. Working in the industry means to be above pressure all the time, especially when a deadline is coming, but I can guarantee that at the end you will say, "wow".
