What course did you study?
3D for Visual Effects (Full Time). My journey began in Architectural Visualisation; a very different kettle of fish from 3D VFX; Escape Studios showed me the way and allowed me to release the beast within!

Studying at Escape Studios was essential on the early days of my career. The connections that Escape Studios has developed along the years with the companies allow the students to be placed on the right track to get their dream job.
What have you been up to since leaving Escape Studios?
Since graduating from Escape Studios, I have managed to sandwich in a spell as an FX Technical Director (TD) at ILM Singapore (Lucasfilm) in between major jobs for Framestore and MPC in London. I have since returned to London and have worked on Avengers Inifinity War, Mortal Engines and Avengers End Game.
What's your favourite movie and why?
Very difficult to name just one movie. Having said that, from the classics I would say The Godfather. As for recent and more VFX driven title one of my favourites is The Dark Knight.
What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in VFX?
Either as a student or a professional the main lesson I took is that you need to work hard, no matter what. This job requires you to be focused, sharp and to be up to date with tools, software, art, science....
If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word what would it be and why?
Success. Why?! Because Escape Studios inspire and teach their students to be the best and to succeed as professionals. Success, defines Escape Studios as a school but also the students achievements if they work hard.
