What course did you study?

Compositing for VFX (12 weeks)

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m currently working on a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality project.

What work are you most proud of working on and is your most notable achievement?

I've worked on a lot of films including Guardians of the Galaxy, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales but Blade Runner 2049 and X-Men Apocalypse have been my favourite projects so far.

If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word, what would it be and why?

Excellent.

Because I had the best trainer in the business (Mark Pinhero, with whom I am still in contact) who gave me solid foundation. Understanding the foundation is everything.

What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in VFX?

You need to learn how to say "no" and how to manage your time effectively.

What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?

Be ready to move and travel. Also with China and India investing heavily in the industry, it's vital to find your own niche and master it so that you can't be easily replaced.

What's your favourite movie and why?

2001 a Space Odyssey - I think it's the movie that did best in describing the human condition, I could talk about it for hours!
