What course did you study?
How did studying at Escape Studios help you into the world of VFX?
I learnt from the fundamentals of VFX, to the most sophisticated technique for awesome effects. From modelling to explosion simulation, from animation to lighting. I learnt how to work in a team, share passion and ideas. I learnt how hard it is to deliver in a deadline. Escape was essential for my career.
What are you working on at the moment?
I'm working in Framestore, I finished a couple of weeks ago to work on "Kingsman: the Golden Circle", right now I'm doing some magical stuff for "Thor Ragnarok" and soon I'll jump in to "Paddington 2".
What's your favourite movie and why?
My favourite is for sure Jurassic park, it was a milestone for the the contemporary VFX, when I watched it I was 8 and I believed that dinosaurs were real and I still believe it!
What lessons have you learnt during your time studying and your time working in VFX?
The most important lesson I've learnt is it doesn't matter how hard the work is (or the magic you are doing), there will always be somebody that knows more about it than you, ready to help. Keep that advice and you will be ready when it's your time.
If you had to sum up your time at Escape Studios in one word, what would it be and why?
Excellent time with awesome friends. I learnt so many things in a super fun environment.
What is your advice for those considering entering the industry?
Joining the VFX-force is really hard, sometimes this world could be really close, but nothing can stop you if you really want something, Escape gave me an essential boost doing that.
