AfterCare

We offer a 12-month Aftercare package to Escapees from some of our postgraduate masters and short courses to help you start your creative career.

Who is eligible for Aftercare?

Our Aftercare package is available for a 12-month period following course completion to Escapees who studied one of the following courses.

  • Daytime (full-time) courses which are 12 weeks, 18 weeks or 1 year in length.

  • Evening (part-time) courses which are 20-weeks in length. 

Our Aftercare package includes:

  • top tips on crafting the perfect CV and cover letter

  • 2 showreel clinics with an experienced tutor

  • CV and cover letter guidance with our Aftercare Coordinator

  • access to the Escape Studios Alumni LinkedIn group which posts job opportunities

  • an exhaustive list of UK companies who specialise in VFX, animation and games

  • key advice on online resources.

On completion of your course, you will automatically be enrolled into the Aftercare package, with help and advice as you search for your perfect career path.

For the duration of the 12-month Aftercare package, Escapees have access to the Escape Studios hardware and software via our VPN. If you studied your course with us in-person, you will have access to the studios when rooms are vacant.*

*Studio access is dependant on availability and Escapees should contact the Aftercare Coordinator to see if booking is possible

As part of the Aftercare package, recent Escapees are invited to attend two showreel clinics after completing your course. Held in small groups, the showreel clinics provide you with individual feedback on your showreel from one of our tutors. At your second visit, the tutor will determine whether it is ready to be used for job applications.

Once you complete your course, you’ll join our growing community of thousands of Escapees and receive invites to exclusive events, including our legendary "An Evening With..." events, reunions and workshops.
