Thomas Hirschmann

Thomas is teaching Predictive Analytics & Big Data and has over a decade of practical experience working in the digital data economy in various different capacities and across all industries.

Thomas is a serial entrepreneur who set up several ventures in the digital space, including Evonovation, an evolutionarily informed innovation business, Herrandmister, an innovation identity company and Braingraph, a digital analytics and insights venture, before embarking on his most recent venture, Behavioural Economy, a behaviourally informed innovation consultancy.

Thomas has a law and psychology background, he is passionate not just about data but about anything innovative within the digital world and is especially interested in linking data and technology trends to changing consumer behaviour.

In his employed career, he has been working as an account director in the biggest social media agency, as a digital insights director at one of the UK's biggest media agencies and as head of insights for a digital consulting agency in the private equity world.

Thomas has been teaching law to first year students at the University of Bayreuth, digital innovation and social media to students at the Technical University of Ingolstadt, and communication psychology and creativity to Swiss bachelor students at the HTW Chur.

His academic interests are in the area of communication, creativity, digital innovation, resilience, neuroscience and evolutionary biology/psychology where he has published various book chapters, articles and has spoken on international conferences.
