Isotropix™ will be running an exclusive Clarisse User Group Meeting on the iconic 10th floor at 80 Strand, London - Pearson Plc’s HQ, on Thursday 25th October. Founded by animation industry veterans, Isotropix™ is a start-up specialized in developing high-end professional graphics software and aims at providing CG artists game-changing innovations.
During the evening, guests will have a chance to meet the team,experience the cool stuff they’ve been working on and get a glimpse of what's to come in Clarisse iFX 4.0. with a talk from Isotropix’s Lead Technical Artist, Greg Jennings. In addition, attendees will also learn more about Clarisse production use from VFX studios and artists who will be on hand to share experiences, techniques,tips and tricks.
At Escape Studios, our undergraduate, short courses and postgraduate students all use the latest software to make sure that they are prepared for a career after they graduate. Our Head of 3D VFX, Mark Spevick, will be delivering training sessions using the new software; he’ll also share the tips and tricks he learnt during the evening with our undergraduate students and the other tutors.
In addition, attendees will learn more about Clarisse production use from VFX studios and artists and Lighting Supervisor Malcolm Neailey will give an insight about how Clarisse was used for creative lighting on “Avengers: Infinity War” at DNEG. Emilis Baltrusaitis, Digital Matte Painter at DNEG, will also share his personal perspective on how Clarisse can improve workflow and quality of work for solo artists.
This new lighting and rendering software is used by some of the biggest VFX studios in the industry and we’re working towards making Clarisse available on our Escape Studios undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the future too.
