Escape Studios Student Project, Home Sweet Home, Wins at the British Animation Film Festival

Home Sweet Home is a third year student project about a group of sweets that get lost and try to make their way back to the sweet shop. The short film, Home Sweet Home, directed by students Maria Robertson, co-directed by Harry Pearson and produced by Maddison Gould, won against tough international competition to take home the top prize from the recent British Animation Film Festival for Best Student Animation.

This is the first time that students from different disciplines have cross-collaborated on a project at Escape Studios, so this is an amazing achievement! Congratulations to all of the students involved in the project and we can’t wait to see what they get up to after they graduate.

The winning team said:

“We're very honoured to have Home Sweet Home win amongst so many fantastic entries."
