Escape Studios shortlisted for three Independent Higher Education awards

Escape Studios has been shortlisted for three 2022 Independent Higher Education awards across two different categories.

Independent Higher Education (IHE) is a UK membership and national representative body for independent providers of higher education, professional training and pathways. The IHE awards aim to recognise small and specialist providers and their contributions to the Higher Education industry.

Escape Studios was announced as a finalist for the outstanding collaboration award for their innovative approach to partnerships with the creative community and industry. As the UK’s premiere, VFX, Animation and Game Art teaching and training institution, Escape Studios has launched programmes to upskill talent with the latest tools and technology as well as widening access to the industry.

Additionally, two members of Escape Studios’ staff were finalists in the rising star category which highlights individuals who have made a difference in the higher education community. Jess Thirstan, Senior Graphic Designer and Craig Coutinho, Student Recruitment Officer were both shortlisted and this week Craig Coutinho, was announced as highly commended for the award.

Caroline Cox, Head of Student Recruitment said: “Craig is a pleasure to work with and is always willing to help others across the organisation. He’s a key part of our team who frequently attends recruitment fairs and we often receive raving reviews from other exhibitors and attendees.” The awards ceremony took place on 18th October during the IHE annual conference.
