Who are our guest speakers?


King is a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world, with people all around the world playing one or more of their games. They have developed more than 200 fun titles, offering games that are enjoyed all around the world, their franchises include Candy Crush, Farm Heroes, Pet Rescue and Bubble Witch.

Phil Williams - Art Director (Farm Heroes Saga)

Phil began his career in art production for Disney comics, books and magazines, and spent many years working on brands such as Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel. He developed and grew successful art teams and co-ran Disney comic art and Disney design courses at the JOSO Comic School in Barcelona.
He moved into games relatively recently, initially leading the art team on the Dark Pictures anthology of narrative horror games at Supermassive Games before moving to King in 2020 as Art Director on Farm Heroes Saga.

Creative Assembly

Creative Assembly is a British video game developer based in Horsham, founded in 1987 by Tim Ansell. In its early years, the company worked on porting games to MS-DOS from Amiga and ZX Spectrum platforms, later working with Electronic Arts to produce a variety of games under the EA Sports brand.
