About this degree
Become fully exam qualified with ACCA, whilst studying a trailblazing masters degree in Financial Leadership from the University of Kent (which is currently ranked 23rd in The Guardian 2017 University Guide).
This programme has been developed by Pearson Business School, with input from ACCA and global leaders such as IBM and Santander. We combine academic theory with real accountancy projects so you develop the skills to be a financial leader.

Charles Day, Accounting Tutor
Charles trained as a Chartered Management Accountant in South Africa. He then moved to London and has worked in various auditing, accounting and management consultant roles (primarily for Deloitte Consulting, specialising in finance systems and processes). He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. Before joining Pearson College London, Laura trained as a Chartered Accountant completing the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) ACA qualification whilst working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their London Top Tier Division. MSc Financial Leadership (180 credits - Level 7)
If you are eligible to work in the UK or EU then you can choose to study the whole programme at our state of the art premises in Central London. You will be taught and mentored by leading accounting professionals.
The content is delivered in blocks of teaching so you can manage your studies around work and life commitments. You can study full-time and complete the Masters degree in one year or study part-time and complete the course over two years.
We’re part of Pearson which means you’ll study this programme from within an international FTSE 100 company. Our Business School is set within Pearson’s London office at 190 High Holborn. We have collaborative workspaces, high-spec classrooms and a business incubation space within the campus.
Our MSc Financial Leadership has been designed to offer flexibility. After the initial 6 months of classroom based study, students can study the remaining modules online. This means you can apply for a short-term study visa which allows you to study in London for upto 6 months. After this time you will can return to your home country to complete the remainder of your studies. You will attend live online lectures and continue to have access to tutors and our online learning environment.
We also offer a fully online version of the course using state of the art technology - it’s the closest you can get to being in a real classroom! This is perfect if you are an international student and would like to study from your home country. You will study the same content as our classroom and blended learning students and have access to the same level of support and materials. Our live online classes are also recorded and made available for revision purposes.
You will attend live online classes and sit your ACCA exams at a test centre in your home country. The price of the MSc Financial Leadership is the same for international students as UK and EU applicants (£10,000 p.a for full-time students).
Designed by industry
We have worked with a range of industry partners including Lloyds of London and Unilever whilst designing and developing our Business degree programmes, and we have also worked with senior professionals from Santander, IBM, and professional bodies such as ACCA in the design and delivery of our Accounting degrees.
Fees and funding
Price: £10,000 p.a full-time. £5,000 p.a part-time
This tuition fee includes up to two attempts at the ACCA core modules (Strategic Business Leader and Strategic Corporate Reporting) as well as access to all of your online learning materials. We have one fee for UK, EU and International students. The fee is the same for classroom, blended and online learning as all student attend live lectures either face-to-face or via or the online learning portal.
This qualification offers a cost effective method to become fully ACCA exam qualified and complete a masters degree at the same time. UK and EU students can also apply for a Postgraduate Loan to cover the full cost of their tuition fees.
Candidates should have passed an accredited programme by the ACCA that provides exemption from ACCA papers F1-F9, and successfully pass an interview. Please note that an undergraduate degree is not required for this MSc programme due to the professional body entry requirements.
English language requirements
Students who do not have English as a first language will need to demonstrate their proficiency with appropriate qualifications or evidence of having been taught English previously. Typical English Language Level: Average 6.5 IELTs, minimum 6.0 reading and writing or Pearson Test of English 61 overall, with reading and writing 54 and no other sub score lower than 51.
