About this course

You'll learn all you need to know as a Games Artist enabling you to create environments, assets, or lighting for mobile or console/PC development. Get a crash course in how the pros produce the next generation of exciting characters and worlds. 

Our Video Games Art Production (12 weeks) course has been designed to meet the demand for new creative talent to take on roles as game artists. It is focused on developing your artistic skills and creativity. You'll learn the principles behind the creation of environments and assets to a professional standard as well as the practical vocational experience to secure a job in the games industry.

What to expect

If you're joining this course on the 25th May, you'll benefit from:

  • A feedback session on your final project with Senior member from games studio, State of Play.
  • This is a chance to showcase your work infront of those in the industry looking for work.

State of Play was established in 2008 and their work has won a number of international awards, including a BAFTA for Artistic Achievement for their handmade puzzle adventure game Lumino City and the Apple Design Award 2016 for our latest game INKS. They are a small team who love what they do!
