About this course

You'll learn all you need to know as a Games Artist enabling you to create environments, assets, or lighting for mobile or console/PC development.

Get a crash course in how the pros produce the next generation of exciting characters and worlds. The UK’s Games industry is world leading and strategically important to the future of the Creative Industries in the UK. Games are everywhere and have grown from being mainly based on PCs and consoles to be common on phones, tablets and the web. They cut across all groups of players and by some measures the industry is bigger than the film industry.

Our Video Games Art Production (12 weeks) course has been designed to meet the demand for new creative talent to take on roles as game artists. It is focused on developing your artistic skills and creativity as preparation for a career in the games industry.

It has been developed with guidance from our partners and industry advisors, and you learn the principles behind the creation of environments and assets to a professional standard as well as the practical vocational experience to secure a job in the games industry.
