Studying In London

Not only is the social side of London fantastic, but so are the facilities for students. If you don’t fancy sitting in our comfortable study area in the Midtown Campus, there is a wide range of cosy coffee shops or quiet libraries that will happily accommodate students.

This is in walking distance from 190 High Holborn and has some of the most amazing views. There’s always something going on from food festivals to watching the buskers by The London Eye.

Galleries

London is full of free galleries and exhibitions - a great way to fill your time after lectures or at weekend. Somerset House, National Gallery, Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern are all within walking distance of 190 High Holborn.

Borough Market

Borough Market is a unique culinary experience. Make sure to pay it a visit. It is great to just walk around (making it a free experience!) or splash out on a paella cooked right in front of you!

West End

There is one thing that you cannot experience anywhere other than London: the world famous West End. Shows can be expensive but look out for last minute tickets and students tickets to nab a bargain.The PorterhouseThe largest pub in London. Within walking distance from 190 High Holborn, it’s a great place to round off the week.

There’s nothing more pleasant than cruising down the Thames on a sunny afternoon. These trips don’t have to be expensive and are a great way to see the City.

Pop up Bars and Restaurants

There’s so many different and exciting things happening in London all the time; like Pop-up bars and restaurants and so keeping track of events you want to go to is tough! I highly recommend signing up to the weekly newsletter of ‘London Pop-Ups’.

The British Library

The British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom and the largest national library in the world by number of items catalogued. It's about 18 minutes from 190 High Holborn on the Picadilly line. Opening times: 9:30am - 8pm (Monday - Thursday)

TY Seven Dials

Coffee/tea gourmet brews, all-day breakfast, simple snacks and freshly baked cakes in a trendy spot. A 15 minutes walking distance from our MidTown campus. Opening Hours: 8 - 6 (Monday to Saturday) 10 - 6 (Sunday)

Ozone Coffee Roasters

Artisan roastery's coffee shop, with onsite bakery for breakfast, cakes, eggs and lunchtime snacks. It is about 15 minutes (Central and Northern lines) from 190 High Holborn. Opening times: 7am - 10pm (weekdays)
