Studying at Pearson College London allowed me to gain confidence, not only in my academic skills but my personal abilities too. they also taught me the power of networking which has helped greatly in securing a job after graduation.
What are you working on at the moment?

From day one I was given responsibility, and they continue to spend time teaching me every day. No question is ever silly, and we are encouraged to share and contribute articles we have seen. It's a very collaborative work environment.
What lessons have you learned during your time studying and your time working in business?
The main thing I have learned is to not be afraid. Don’t be scared to put yourself out there because the worst that can happen is that someone says no, but you won’t know unless you ask.
What was your favourite part of studying at Pearson College London?
One of my favourite things was that we could attend industry talks and panels. This was very inspiring to me and I loved the diversity of each of them. I remember attending one at the Barbican, which Pearson had created, about the importance of trust in the 21st century. It was a good experience, and I enjoyed attending more of them over the three years that I studied.
If you had to sum up your time at Pearson College London in one word, what would it be and why?
Exciting. It was exciting for me to move to London and start the course, but I also found learning the content exciting because I knew it was something I wanted to do.
What advice would you give to students looking to start a career within business?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. At first it may seem daunting, but as the saying goes, “you’ll never know unless you ask”. I was lucky enough to secure the job I’m in now by sharing my story on LinkedIn.
