How did studying at Pearson College London help you get into the world of business?
The variety of extra-curricular opportunities; industry days, career talks, and a corporate study environment were really insightful as to what to expect when entering the world of business.
I found the relevant and up to date module content was really applicable to the real world.
The Accelerated egree program meant I was able to complete my degree in two years; the experience was representative of the expectations of the business world - especially with regards to workload and time management.
Where have you gone on to work and what is your role?
I have recently started at Goodstuff, an independent media agency, as an Account Executive in Partnerships. My role is managing the delivery and realization of all media partnerships, and ensuring all advertising campaigns run smoothly throughout their duration.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m currently working on numerous partnerships that are yet to be launched - therefore I cant say too much just yet incase I spoil the surprise! Although one VERY exciting partnership involves ITV’s This Morning… watch this space!
What was your favourite part of studying at Pearson College London?
I loved being part of an innovative university experience - something new and different that was so unlike the experiences my friends had. Being able to tell people about my innovative, immersive education is something I’m always proud to share.
If you had to sum up your time at Pearson College London in one word, what would it be and why?
Opportunity. The stand out experience from my time at Pearson was travelling to Mumbai for 10 days as part of a Business and Travel programme offered by Pave. It was the most amazing experience; to interact with the city from both business and traveller perspectives is such a unique approach, and I hope to travel back to India soon. This, combined with all the other amazing opportunities offered by Pearson really makes it stand out from the crowd.
