Direct Line Hackathon

Ever taken part in a hackathon? Many of our students hadn’t until last year when we visited Direct Line Group’s HQ.

During a ‘Hack’ a team is given a short amount of time to solve a problem – it encourages rapid idea generation and innovative thinking.

During our hack, students were given the huge task to develop an idea to revolutionise the insurance market. No mean feat, but our students tackled the project head-on, working late nights to develop their ideas and pitch to a team of professionals the following week.
