Apoorva Chaudhry, Programme Leader Enterprise and Work-Based Programmes
Apoorva is responsible for the day-to-day running of our business degrees. She also leads lectures, seminars and workshops in business strategy, economics, commercial enterprise and social enterprise and is responsible for designing and delivering modules that give our students the chance to get involved in real-life social and commercial entrepreneurship projects in the UK and India.
Apoorva is committed to bridging the gap between education and the workplace, by making learning highly practical and inspiring, so it develops students professionally and personally, as well as giving them a solid academic foundation. She has a LLB Law degree from BPP University and a Masters degree in International Management from Henley Business School with distinction. She has five years' experience in social entrepreneurship, having led and delivered social enterprise projects in the UK and India. In 2013, Apoorva co-founded Pave, an internship company that gives students and graduates the chance to intern in India within a range of industry sectors. Pave has been recognised for its commitment to the personal and professional development of young adults and cross-cultural practice and won Barclays' national social enterprise competition in 2013.
Apoorva is also a One Young World ambassador. One Young World is a not-for-profit organisation that gives young people the opportunity to join a global network of socially committed individuals with leadership potential. It brings young people together with world leaders and business leaders, to make sure their concerns, opinions and solutions are heard and acted upon, to bring about positive change in communities, companies and countries. and countries. As an ambassador, Apoorva is part of the global discussions on development and business with government and business leaders from around the world.
