Rod Brazier, Programme Leader Business Management Programmes
Rod has worked on a number of action research studies in recent years, both as part of his PGCERT in Education at Edge Hill University (where he graduated with Distinction) and for the ongoing study of a Doctorate in Education (EdD) at Anglia Ruskin University.
His research has focused heavily on experiential teaching and uncovering how to engage students to create deep learning. Rod is an advocate of student-led learning and has presented at several high profile conferences such as the Association of Law Teachers Conference and LERN.
His recent research has examined the use of technology to enable students to develop their own learning within virtual classrooms and the innovative use of reflective journals to foster two-way communication. He is currently researching the effect of experiential teaching and gamification within Business Management degrees.
