Attending a Personal Visit

Attending a Personal Visit at Pearson College? Here’s an insight into what happens on the day from Rosie, our Student Engagement Executive.

It’s great that you’re thinking of studying at Pearson College. A personal visit will give you an insight into life here and the course you’re considering, as well as a chance to see our facilities.

What happens on the day?

To start with we’ll chat through how things at Pearson College work, a typical timetable, what happens at the industry conferences and residential and answer any questions you have about the course. There’ll be the opportunity to hear from one of our tutors about the course content and professional accreditation. You’ll also be given all the information you need on our admissions process and have the chance to ask a member of the Admissions team any questions you have about our interview and assessment days.

A tour of the iconic 80 Strand building will conclude the visit. You’ll get to see where you industry workshops and lectures will take place, and take a look at the great view from our 10th floor overlooking the South Bank of the River Thames.

If you’d like to take a look at our student accommodation on the same day, you can also book a tour with one of our recommended providers.

Quick Tips

You don’t need to bring anything with you on the day but it would be useful to have a think about any questions you might want to ask and you may want to bring a notepad to jot down anything you’d like to remember.

The visit is intended to give you a real insight into life at Pearson College, so don’t be afraid to ask for as much detail as you want.

If you arrive early, why not take a look around some of the local sites and get a feel for the area? With Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square on our doorstep there’s plenty to see and do.

The Northern and Bakerloo lines are not currently stopping at Embankment underground station so please bear that in mind whilst planning your visit. The nearest stations are Charing Cross and Covent Garden. The route planner on the Transport for London (TFL) website is useful for planning journeys within London.
