The societies within the Pearson College London Student Association (PCSA) are growing, enabling students to take part in activities outside the classroom and gain an overall memorable student experience.

Currently, Pearson College London has the following societies:

Snow Business – this is the Pearson College London snow sports society. The annual ski trip in 2014 is taking place in Val Thorens and is suitable for skiers and boarders of any level.

RAG (Raise And Give) - Living proof that helping others and doing good cannot only be rewarding but can is also a laugh! We recently took part in the British Heart Foundation Love Locks installation in Covent Garden and raised £1286 for The BHF.

All Access - This society is all about London nightlife, from cocktail bars to roller discos! This is the society to join to ensure your social calendar is always filled with new and exciting events!

Bright Futures - Bright Futures empowers students with the ability to stand out in the competitive job market by building essential skills through networking events, workshops and activities designed to bridge the gap between study and work.
Selective Perspectives – you’ll hear from some unique and influential speakers at SP! Events are held monthly offering many chances to expand your network and learn from highly knowledgeable individuals in a relaxed environment.

Pearson College London Footie - Don’t worry if you are no Cristiano Ronaldo, this society welcomes all skill levels. Friendly 5 a side tournaments are held regularly and future plans for this society include introducing an 11 a side game.

Grub Club - Good food and good company can be found at Grub Club! Grub club is a monthly dinner date for foodies. London has an unlimited amount of tantalising cuisines to choose from, and it’s our mission to experience it all! Grub Club manager ‘Hungry Harry’ uses his business skills to ensure we always get a healthy discount, keeping our wallets, as well as our stomachs happy.

Pearson Poker - Tournaments are held every two weeks with each member paying £3 to go towards the cash prize for the top three winners. This club is suitable for people of all skill levels. A professional poker dealer is on hand to offer tips and assistance to less experienced players as well as strategy classes for those wanting to advance.

It's a great opportunity to be part of a student society and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing an active role in both RAG and Bright Futures. It's helped me to get to know students in all levels.

Recently, for the second year running, RAG took part in the British Heart Foundation Love Locks Installation in Covent Garden and we managed to beat last year's total and raise an amazing £1286! Bright Futures, a student led career focused society, are currently preparing for their very first event in April based around developing core interview skills. It's been a brilliant experience organising events and developing these societies for PCSA. I know that as the college grows, so will the number and type of societies, giving students an even broader selection to choose from!
