This new innovative degree is in response to industry demand and will be launching in September 2020.
Digital marketing is one of the fastest growing industries and as more companies opt for a ‘digital first’ marketing strategy there is a huge demand for skilled, strategic and driven graduates.
This degree has been developed in response to industry demand and helps students go beyond the textbooks. Students will be immersed with practical experiences and study within a FTSE100 company. This degree focuses on the necessary skills needed for a career in the dynamic world of Digital Marketing. Students will learn how organisations continually innovate to stay ahead of the competition and how companies create dynamic, digitally-led propositions and communications to engage their customers. Students will also learn more about standard practices of digital marketing including Google Analytics and coding (HTML, CSS and Python).
At Pearson College London all of our students work closely with our industry partners through workshops, industry challenges and internships and this new course is no different. Students will attend workshops at the head offices of companies such as Unilever, L’Oréal and Direct Line Group; there will be 4 industry workshops per term to make sure they have a chance to put into practice what they are learning in the classroom. The degree has also been developed with employers to make sure that the content is in line with industry trends and so students can get the skills employers are looking for. Applicants will also be taught by industry professionals with years of experience who will share their own experiences and advice through lectures and seminars.
By working with industry and being taught by lecturers with marketing experience, students will get the best of both worlds and finish their degree fully prepared for a career in digital marketing. By the end of their degree, students will be prepared for a wide range of careers and roles including marketing, PR, advertising, consultancy and management.
