Latest Update on Teaching at Pearson College London
We wanted to provide the latest update on teaching here at Pearson College London, currently being conducted with a blended approach face-to-face and online.
Following the government's announcement that schools, colleges and universities are allowed to stay open, our face-to-face teaching will continue during the lockdown period. Unless this government guidance changes, current timetables will remain in place.
For those students attending face-to-face teaching on campus, they are asked to wear a face covering at all times, when moving around the building and also in class for group work. Tutors have been advised to ask students to leave the classroom if they do not wear a face covering in these situations, as it is really important for everyone’s safety and that all students and staff feel as protected as possible.
If students do feel unwell and are displaying symptoms, they must not come into the College, and should inform Student Services as soon as possible. For more information about COVID-19 tests, including drive through and mobile testing sites see this link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested
Should students test positive for Covid-19 they must inform Student Services immediately, even when being taught online.
